TEMPORADA SECA (THE DROUGHT)
Temporada Seca (The Drought) tells the story of Domingo, a Mexican Indigenous farmer grieving the loss of his wife and weighed down by the loneliness and poverty that surround him. Through atmospheric camerawork, minimal dialogue, and a resonant sound design, the film immerses the viewer in Domingo’s fragile state of mind as he makes a desperate attempt to break free from the devastation that has defined his life. The film was awarded Best Short Film at the 21st Biarritz Film Festival.
