Ex-voto for Three Souls (Ex-voto para tres ánimas) paints an intimate triptych of lives suspended between faith and survival. Through three intersecting stories, the film explores what it means to pray for a miracle when every day is already a struggle.

• Christian, a young boxer, fights not only his opponents but also the weight of poverty, each victory offering the possibility of a professional career and a way out.

• María-Teresa, an eighty-year-old woman, faces a risky heart surgery and appeals to God to guide the hands of her surgeons.

• Luis, a fisherman, prays for the sea to replenish itself, so that the dwindling fish and declining profits no longer endanger his livelihood.

More than a simple observation, the film embodies the rhythm of faith and fragility through atmospheric camerawork, sparse dialogue, and a powerful soundscape that immerses the audience in the mental and emotional world of its protagonists.
