Voir la musique autrement is a documentary series featuring men and women living with visual impairments, who embody the beauty and sensitivity of music, and who have placed it at the very center of their lives. From the United States to Mexico, through France, Belgium, and Spain, and of course Canada, we travel the world to meet musicians of great talent. Artists with diverse backgrounds, playing various instruments—whether renowned professionals, passionate educators, or street performers bringing joy to entire neighborhoods with their music. Charismatic people who practice their art with contagious joy, driven by the same determination and a deep passion, whose inspiring stories prove that music is truly the most universal and inclusive language of all time.

Beyond the obvious pleasure of sharing their love for the fourth art and appreciating the breadth of their talent, Voir la musique autrement is also a window into the lives of blind and visually impaired people in different countries around the globe. Their integration, the challenges and joys they encounter, the support available, and the openness they show—there is much to say, to explore, to share. All of this unfolds with a continuous soundtrack, courtesy of talented artists who color our world with happiness, one note at a time.
